2. No Amazon!! They will replace all workers with robotics. Find something on Amazon then go direct to that retailer’s website instead.

3. If you see something on Instagram, exit and go direct to retailer site.

Agreed, surreal and troubling.

What to buy for the holidays:
Tickets to local theater and music venues;
Gift certificates to local restaurants;
Donate to charity instead;
Buy greeting cards from local artists;
Do volunteer work as a family, such as beach or river cleanup;
See a kids’ ballet;
Wrap gifts in thrift-store fabric.

My favorite thing about Chicago No Kings was all the American flags and chants of USA. It’s time we took the flag back from MAGA! Of course I loved the roar of BOOS when the march passed the Trump building.

I’m posting this again because I hope that more people will see my request.

I cancelled my Prime membership today. Try it. It’s easy. And you can still look for things on Amazon, but then purchase from the source or a decent company. Many have the same quick delivery.

Always shop local first, even the big box stores because they employ people in your town. NEVER shop at Amazon unless you have to. They do absolutely nothing for your local economy. If you find something on Amazon and you don’t think you can get it locally, order directly from the manufacturer.
