Yeah, they use Gamechat to stream the game, and I watch and chat with them. The framerate isn't great, but it's not awful either and is better than nothing.

I use Gamechat regularly with friends who don't have capture cards to stream.

Look, I’m 100% pro-emulation. But it’d also be really nice if people who do nothing but emulate would shut the hell up and quit inserting themselves into conversations about new ports of games sometimes. 🥴

I'd argue that it's more advancements in computing power rather than emulators improving. At least for the bulk of it, of course there have been improvements in emulators, but not as drastic as having a super computer in your pocket.
