Similar vein but less minor. Was partying in LA, introduced to a musician called Saul. I may have had a few. Partied the whole night & several times I told him he was a lovely drummer. 🙈 nicest man ever, never corrected me once & was super sweet. Apologies were sent when I sobered up & was informed.

I once pushed past what I thought was a group of tourists outside the Balmoral. It was security and paparazzi. Came face to face with an older man with the hair of my nan. “Haa Rod Stewart” I said right to his face. Over tanned man looked back annoyed as I kept going. It was Simon Le Bon.

I was obsessed with this as a child. I’m sure it’s one of the reasons I studied classical music and became a musician (before the weird career change to go into nursing). It’s beautiful and it’s not aged at all. 🥰
