depending on the condition, sometimes this dosage is warranted for best outcomes. For example, a post-surgical rehab period with expected hurdles.
On the other hand, also important to be grateful this kind of expertise and availability is there, as unavailable in many parts of the World.

The global stem cell community remembers the life & contributions of James Till, who passed away on May 18 at the age of 94. Alongside the late Ernest McCulloch, Dr. Till conducted pioneering research in the 1960s that proved the existence of stem cells.

If it is aggravating you, you can make that call to scale back for your own body. He's your therapist, not your master.
You're not beholden to any specific treatment - the above ones I suggested are evidence based exercises for low back pain, but they still need to be tailored for your function.
You could also do hip strengthening against resistance in the pool (e.g. with resistance band around your ankles, or wearing flippers)
19.05.2025 09:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You may need to scale it back to what are called 'isometric' exercises - activation of your abdominal muscles (specifically transversus abdominal + multifidus) starting from a supine or seated position. Static holds of your abdo + glut muscles, bridging (inc. leg lifts) - all less intense on knees
