I do love a good raccoon selfie! Monitoring this camera trap network helps us assess the presence of species and their habitat use in natural and working landscapes. One of this weeks highlights also included an awesome nine-banded armadillo that I saw right on station.

In my current job as a researcher monitoring the Florida Wildlife Corridor, I get to look at lots of amazing camera trap images. I will be posting the best ones. This week we have a smoldering bobcat and a raccoon selfie!
