It's quite a different experience playing Tetris to the beat or challenge 99 players. Both have their appeal but I prefer the music over the competition.

While Tetris is one of the most iconic puzzle games in existence with many different iterations on the same theme, this one is something special. Where it differs is it's use of music and visuals to create an almost psychedelic experience. That's the Effect in the title.

That's one mighty impressive bridge. I tried to visit it but the bridge is too op for my Switch too handle. It runs out of memory and crashes everytime it tries to load it in. 😅

The basis of many rpg's. I like 'em. They are necessary to grind levels which in turn can make you over-leveled. And that's fine too. Though too much can make the game feel pointless. It's the right balance that makes a great game.

That was a nice one. I always loved to hide away in the chill out space when the energy of the party was a bit too much. Triphop, ambient and down tempo balearic sounds have been very important for that. The dream/synthwave lofi movement brought that all back to me.

Playing Broken Sword again, this time on Switch. I’ve had the game on multiple platforms over the years and played all of them too. I love the story, style and animation. The voice acting is so recognisable to me. Perhaps nostalgia but this is one of my all-time favourite point and click adventures.
