I guess a lot of time has passed. But undertale was and still is an important game that I keep close to my heart!

Sorry, I'm sure that's all really cheesey, and personal. But it's also all really sincere. Thinking back to 10 years ago and remembering my experience when I first played, these are my thoughts and feelings

But a lot of good can come from opening your heart and holding onto your hopes and dreams. Speaking from personal experience at least. Stay determined, stay curious. Keep caring, keep on going.

It can be hard and scary to open up and be vulnerable, instead of running or fighting all the time. And the world can be way more complicated than everything I've written here. Of course you have to fight sometimes. There's a lot we have to fight for now.

And man, what a perfect game to help me reconnect with the cheerful, silly, outgoing and courageous person I was before all the hurt. It felt really good to go around helping and befriending characters, and solving things with fun shenanigans and persistent compassion.

10 years?! Jeez. Well, 10 years ago I was in college. And after spending a good chunk of my life feeling sad, scared, and angry, I wanted to reconnect with the part of myself that was cheerful, courageous, outgoing, and silly. Undertale happened to release while I was in the middle of that
