๐ท๐ป I know this will be of interest to many oil and gas workers in Moray, many who will have had their own challenging experience of trying to move into clean energy sectors.
๐ฃ The launch of a pilot scheme for skills passports for oil and gas workers looking to transition into the renewables sector is to be warmly welcomed.

Following the meeting held this week with stakeholders to discuss the imminent closure of the St Giles Centre, I secured an urgent meeting with the Scottish Governmentโs Employment and Investment Minister to update him on this most unfortunate situation.
โ๏ธBut the Scottish Parliament is still to approve the budget โ it is therefore crucial that opposition parties back this budget and deliver this investment to Moray Council. They wonโt be forgiven by the public if they fail to do so.

We discussed the opportunities and challenges in the increasingly dynamic Moray economy thatโs continuing to evolve with some exciting developments.
All of us must work towards a society where everyone is equally safe - where women and girls can live their lives free from the threat of violence and abuse.
26.11.2024 12:21 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Gender based violence is the result of the behaviour and attitudes of men. Those behaviours and attitudes must change and it is the responsibility of all men to make that change happen.
There is never an excuse for violence against women and girls.
Well done to the organisers of Moray's first ever #ReclaimTheNight march that took place in Elgin last night - the first day of the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence campaign.
