dusting off my oldest gDoc files and i hit a fucking jackpot!

i had a character profile doc for my chronic-wip-novel that i thought i had lost AGES ago in a harddrive crash. it's in my gDocs! i could cry with relief that i dont have to re-wrote all of that 😭

opened a short original fiction story i'd written back in 2009 & was immediately hit with the reminder that bbwriter!Shim was told All Contractions Are Bad

two sentences in & i'm itching to edit...

just realized that my next few months are going to be absolute mayhem at work & i probably don't get a vacation until next year...

If asked, Shimera will say she's Lominsan- they took her in at her lowest and it's home now.

For backstory's sake:
Her mom lived her whole life in the South Shroud & was 100% mooncat. Shim's dad was a wandering Ala Mhigan suncat. She was born & raised in the Shroud before running away.

i think assigning kpdh songs to my chronic-project ocs may have brought a spark of joy into my morning- esp assigning "How it's Done" & "Takedown" to men who would never listen to those songs
