Why don't Democrats use Rule IX to address the dozens of impeachable offenses Trump has committed? It is unethical to charge a shoplifter for their first offense, but allow the President to break the law multiple times without even having his infractions recorded by Congress.

I don't think you understand what that means. The nuclear option referred to eliminating the filibuster. We do not have the votes to do that, obviously. And if we did, we would not have the votes to pass anything. Nor the president to sign anything. We can't call hearings.
