Big Pond, I'm told, has two access points: this one, for swimming and the other is best for skating. I don't think there will be much of either this month. That said, it's such a tranquil and sheltered spot, very different from the big drama of the Atlantic.

Which, of course, makes it perfect for

Here's me, almost 30 years ago (!) as a graduate student at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Our studios were on the fourth floor of the Morses Tea building, overlooking the harbour

Today, Saturday, January 25th, is your last chance to see Harold Klunder's show at the Clint Roenish Gallery in Toronto. Here's a slow pan of a small portion of a massive canvas from the mid-1980s. I'm pretty sure I could still smell the oil paint...😁 #HaroldKlunder

Here's Hartley the schnoodle, wondering why the dog in Carol Wainio's wonderful painting doesn't have to wear boots or a coat...
Meanwhile, upstairs, Barbara Klunder serves up a veritable menagerie of merry weirdness. This double-knockout show just opened at Paul Petro Gallery.
