This is true and Kirk even has posts about it. More people should know about this. The even-more-fringe right wing bigots did not like Kirk because he was very popular with their target audience but was not extreme enough for them and did oppose their more extreme views.

In 2019, Kirk hosted an event at my university and there were many "groypers" in attendance who harassed him and wanted him to endorse more hardline ethnonationalism (granted, he did push back). Kirk was very popular with young white men (and women), and nazis wanted to leverage him for recruitment.

For example, just now I went in to Google Play Store and saw there was an update to Bluesky that was available on Sept 5. That's 7 days ago. Play Store auto-update is on, and auto-update is on for that specific app too. But it hadn't been applied on my phone. No idea why.

I occasionally go into Google Play Store to check if an app has updates that haven't been applied, and it often is the case that it does. I have automatic updates turned on. My phone is connected to wifi and plugged in every night. Why is Google Play Store not updating my apps in a timely manner?

Too much obfuscation has been done in the past to refer only to high level officers and soldiers as "Nazis". Actually much of the German citizenry were Nazi party supporters. The military was the German military, not the Nazi military. It was directed by the Nazi party's government.

"Nazi" refers to an political party that like, normal people joined and ran for office under, supported the platform of, etc. They got enough members and supporters to seize total control and do away with democracy. The German Army along with other entities helped implement the Nazi platform.
