That makes perfect sense. Thing about Semenyo is his price is going to keep rising. If you can make your peace with it being more difficult to bring him in later, then go without.

That was my initial reaction as well with Munoz but he’s got pretty good fixtures going forward besides the Arsenal match. Goals, assists, CS, and DC. Think he might be a season keeper. Just need to be patient with him

If you can find a way for both, Enzo probably is a decent pick. Straight up choice between Semenyo and Enzo though, I think Semenyo is the pretty clear winner.

Had a very shall we say..ambitious..plan for a -12 that would have ripped out all my attacking fullbacks for cheapies to bring in Haaland. Now thinking a simple -4 of Ekitike to Bowen and Porro to Mukiele might be far more elegant in its simplicity

Very solid team. Not to jump on the DCL is a trap bandwagon but that money could be better spent perhaps going down to a Lyle Foster. 0.5 less and probably more likely to pop up with a goal than DCL.

I get it. He had that huge season under Ancelotti in 2020 and looks like he should be far more impactful than he ever is. He’s the deadest of dead ends

18 goals over the last 5 seasons. 13 over the last 4. 3 last year. There’s nothing I see there that makes him worth more than a random 4.5 striker. If his name was Chiwome instead of DCL, he wouldn’t even be an afterthought with those stats

I think that’s fair. Just personally, think he’s an inconsistent player not on pens, in a team with a constant threat of rotation. If your risk tolerance is high, he’s a great boom or bust player. Just never been for me

It might be a blind spot for my but I tend to steer clear of wildly inconsistent players. Those points are there but you never know when. As you said, those next 4 fixtures are great but he’s just as likely to come out of those with 8 points as he is 40

Yeah I think if you already own him, you see him through those fixtures. I’m talking more a long term thing with him. There’s a reason a certain group of people like myself were never interested in him.

When I watch him, even setting aside all the injuries, I see a player who with his modeling career hasn’t been interested in football since maybe 2020. He does help me in that when a FPL podcast/stream mentions him as a possible target, I know to turn them off :)

He’s always been a high volume shot taker who would often just lace the ball at goal hoping it would go in. He seems to be much more intelligent and nuanced in his decision making this season. More importantly, he has a clearly defined place in the squad. Can’t say that about Pedro

Well played by all the Joao Pedro’s owners who got his points early in the season. But this has always been who he is. Impressive for a short stretch, anonymous for another. I’ve never enjoyed having these kind of players in FPL

Trying to visualize what the experience of those seats would even be like. Looks like a quarter sliver of a section of Category 3 seats. How many people does this even accommodate in those 4 corners? 100? Seems like a big middle finger from FIFA to its fans
