It may be heresy to say it as I know you are the number one 🪵 acolyte but I originally was going two 🌳 🌳 defense with 🪵 up front but they’re attack has been shocking in the preseason. Think they’ll really miss Elanga

A bit unorthodox with triple 🌳 🌳 but I think it’s a good mix of upside and nailed on steady players with 0.5 in the bank for a rainy day

I’ve always been more of a price points person. Have at least one or two higher priced players in each area who you can easily move down from if necessary without burning transfers

I’m not going to start with him but Senesi was really good last season for DC and scored from some set pieces as well before getting hurt and Huijsen taking his place. Only 4.5 as well

Great team! I really like Mateta too but I don’t think you’re losing that much by going down to say a Strand Larsen. He’s the talisman there, scored a bunch of goals with Cunha out last season, and on pens. And you get 1m to play around with

Think we’re the only ones on that train but sounds like people are about to find out about him. Looks like he’s likely to start and very highly valued by Fulham. He’s 2nd bench for now but wouldn’t be surprised in a month or so if he’s in my squad proper

When making decisions in FPL I try to ask myself why I’m making a particular choice. In a game that’s so random, your logic is the only thing you can control so it keeps you sane knowing that when your CB concedes 4 and gets sent off, there was at least sound reasoning behind why you chose them

He’s basically a winger at 5.5. His heat maps are ludicrous with the positions he takes up on the edge of the box

It’s a great shout, and more importantly a fun one. Don’t think anyone is really going for him that I’ve seen so if he goes off, you’ll be flying

There’s not much I’d change in that team. The MF in particular is pretty much perfect. Maybe if I had an extra 0.5 though I’d upgrade Chalobah to a 5.5 like Munoz or Forest defender. With Colwill hurt Chalobah probably starts but he’s not nailed. Think he’s always a rotation risk

He really went under the radar last season after a rough start at Brentford. New manager, basically a whole new attack as well though make me worry how repeatable that is though. In that 6.0 bracket though, maybe the best option?

Forest can’t score in pre-season but have kept CS. The way they soak up pressure is perfect for DC points too. You’re a braver man than me with double Palace defense and those opening fixtures. Love Munoz though. Think I’d still pick him if they had to play Liverpool 38 times instead of the league

Can definitely see it. 6.0 is just a tough price point. Him, Tielemans, McNeill, or Damsgaard there all have some concerns. I might drop down to a 5.5 instead and take a punt on a Harry Wilson who is having a cracking pre-season and save the 0.5

Double Forest defense! Been there since June. May have slipped a bit at the end of last season but remarkably consistent, DC monsters, nailed for minutes, and good fixtures. I might even go full on YOLO and go for 3!

Like the high ceiling picks like Dorgu, Thiago, and Diouf. Thiago especially may be underrated as he’s on pens and probably nailed on for minutes. I can’t go there quite yet, but could hit big. Not sure about Paqueta though. Think West Ham are going to have trouble scoring goals outside of Bowen

I’ve had quite a few Bruno drafts. Like the pens, talisman, DC is good as well. But he’s probably going to play deep in a midfield two. It’s a little fluid so he won’t be there all the time but he may be the assister to the assister. For 9m it’s a bit rich for my blood

It does look like the Rogers injury is relatively minor though. Out for the rest of preseason but knowing how much Emery loves him (basically played every possible match for Villa last season) could be a go for GW1. Two United makes me a bit queasy. But I have a low threshold for instability

In the same boat. Had a basically set team but it really revolved around that 7.0 price point. Eze appeals the most of those MFs but looking at his historical output and transfer uncertainty, I’m not thrilled. And I love Eze as a player. Maybe leaning Cunha for upside but meh

The Foden shout is definitely aggressive! I really like it though. If it doesn’t work you can move him on easily at that price point. If it does, you’re flying
