I also hope to meet with Salvadoran officials and with Kilmar himself. He was illegally abducted and needs to come home.

No One Is Safe From America’s Abusive Immigration Authorities Anymore Even legal residents and tourists are being terrorized by Trump-emboldened officers at ICE and CBP.

It only takes a handful of lawful residents to be arrested or have visas canceled over speech, or for tourists to be inexplicably detained in the horrible gulags that pass for our “nonpunitive” immigration detention, for people to start wondering if it’s safe to come to the U.S. at all.

I am not blaming Democrats for Republicans becoming fascists. I am blaming people who overused "fascist" for years for removing the power of that word and gutting it of meaning, and making it useless now that we need it.
