Scoop: The NIH infectious-diseases institute (NIAID) will soon scrub โpandemic preparednessโ and โbiodefenseโ from its web pages, according to e-mails I obtained.
The directive is the start of a broader shake-up at NIAID, which has long been attacked by Republicans.
In a new paper, we introduce Metient, a new method to reconstruct the migration history of metastatic clones, and learn cancer-type specific patterns of metastatic spread, from bulk or single-cell sequencing data.
