Well, seeing as both of the school board candidates up for reelection have already said they’re not gonna run and there’s two recall petitions for the other two who are siding with the superintendent. I have a feeling parents are on the same side as the teachers in this case.

Always. The contract they wanted us to ratify was so incredibly bad. We have more legal protections without a formal contract than we would’ve had with that one. I’m going to be looking for a new district next year. Unless they fire the superintendent, then I would consider staying.

My district loss the best principal possibly in the state be because our superintendent didn’t like that he questioned her publicly. This happened on the same day the union did not ratify the contract that protected admin from getting in trouble for retaliation.

This will be my last year here.

Still don’t have carpet and I got back in 11 days. In fact, they ripped out more carpet. All of it. The hallway is carpetless now. I might have to get rugs if they decide to just polish the floor. WTF.
