I just read Adventures of Huckleberry Finn for the first time. I plan to use it for the shared universe prompts with James. I haven’t read James yet—would you say it was a shared universe or a retelling of Huck’s story?

I’m enjoying Cinder already! Sci-fi & dystopian are not my usual genres, but this one is really interesting. Cyborg Cinderella! Who knew? 🤭🤩

This book is poetry to me. A heartfelt, devastatingly touching letter to his mother (who died before it was published). Generational trauma from the Vietnam war, emigrating to the east coast, exploring sexual identity. A lot to unpack.

Hi! Last year I read my first two sci-fi novels: Klara and the Sun and Project Hail Mary. I loved them both! Klara didn’t focus on sci-fi as much as Project did, but they were very good stories. I also read Never Let Me Go. That was heartbreaking. I’d love recommendations if you liked these books.
