Honest question - are all college administrators (Deans and up) lacking in integrity? Do they all rationalize their actions even when they treat those that work with them with disrespect? I'd like to be a different kind of Dean someday, but I'm beginning to wonder if that's impossible.

I have a student that is not progressing based on performance on repeated assessment. I gave written feedback that we should meet so I can help her with this. She just made a 15 minute meeting 😒Pretty sure we need more time than this unless I only give a different assignment. #AlternativeGrading

Great idea - I already have a form like this. I'm trying to keep the total tokens up to date in the gradebook. If I could sync this or somehow make it completely automated, that would be AMAZING!

Its my 4th year teaching with #AlternativeGrading but I have my largest class yet (41). The combination of retakes/ revisions and a token system is feeling pretty hectic right now. I need to reflect over the break about what might need to be updated with a larger number of students. Thoughts?

How silly of me - I thought Cabinet members were supposed to have some level of knowledge, expertise, or skill to lead a federal Department for the betterment of all Americans. We should all be embarrassed if these people become our leaders.

Its my 5th doctorversary - in 2019 I defended my dissertation. This was 20 years after I finished my MS and 19 years after I left another PhD program. It was a sweet day to celebrate with many family, but especially my husband (who had been along for the whole ride) and my 3 kids.
