The terrible CR Budget bill — written by right-wing House Republicans with no input from anybody but themselves — was passed tonight with the support of 10 Democrats.
 
An absolute failure of Democratic leadership. NOBODY in the Senate should have voted for this dangerous bill.

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

They own what happens next.

This is tragic in every way imaginable.

I absolutely love this idea.

Hell yeah. Hold the line. This is what we need people to do.

Slow things down, don’t comply in advance so the courts have time to stop them. It’s starting to work.

Trump said he hadn’t read Project 2025 – but most of his early executive orders overlap with its proposals | CNN Politics A CNN analysis of Trump’s first week in office found that two-thirds of his early executive orders and actions appear closely aligned with Project 2025’s plans.

“This is exactly the work we set out to do,” Paul Dans, who oversaw Project 2025 at the conservative Heritage Foundation, told CNN.

Every journalist that ran with Trump's denials about Project 2025, that indulged them, that pretended it was a liberal conspiracy.... should hang their heads in shame.

I'm glad Pete Hegseth has pledged not to drink if he is confirmed as Defense Secretary. So, I guess he can still sexually harass women, mismanage funds, discriminate against women service members, push for a Christian Nationalist agenda, and be a virulent Islamaphobe?

People are leaving Twitter because it’s not fun anymore and no one is obligated to be on a platform they don’t enjoy.
