1) Inflation is wrong boogeyman - even the piece gets around to noting inequality;

2) Inflation isn’t what drives inequality - a primary cause is tax policy that favors capital over labor.

3) Something worse could be backlash to inequality, which we are experiencing but can get much worse

This thought was disturbing my sleep last night. Think there are 3 things billionaires & Trump's grubby $ grab potentially kick off:

- widespread US misery
- rebellion/riot/discord
- (eventual) agreement on higher taxes on the wealthiest

Taxes and fair elections are the way to avoid worse outcomes

If I were running the DNC, there would be Democratic Party sponsored food relief banks across the country right now that specifically welcomed anyone regardless of party affiliation.
