At my yoga class, a student showed me how close she is to touching her toes. She is almost there! She worked through and unlocked something. It won't be long now. We're excited!!! She'd never been able to touch her toes, not even as a kid, but now at 66

It's a warm October night. The moon is full and bright. So bright she casts a shadow. So close I could almost press my cheek against hers. It's a night for breathing deep and feeling grateful for this life.

Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling told reporters that 27 of his police officers were hit by tear gas by ICE agents on Saturday. They'd been called to the area by ICE!
