Thank you Cheri for this well needed challenge and for all the posts this month. A walk to and from work plus 2 miles at work today completed this monthβs challenge. Aprilβs goal is to surpass Marchβs steps and keep on walking! Another challenge for me is posting so 2 goals met this month!

My treadmill is away for the next few months but Iβve printed the article and itβs on my treadmill for the fall! I always find I need different walking ideas especially in the winter!

Since 3/1 my rate of speed walking is faster and my legs are stronger. Sundays are my reset day. Today I simply walked, not to music or podcasts but by myself. I didnβt focus on my list of βto doβsβ or the cold but how much faster and stronger my pace has become!

Great article! Working out along with walks helps address #3 and #4. Walking on different terrains is a little trickier in the winter but Iβm looking forward to taking nature walks once the snow melts fully.

Things are great. Research that I have read says that it takes on average 21 days to start a new habit. I feel that walking everyday is helping make this my new habit! By day 18, I am planning on when Iβm going to take daily walks and holding myself accountable to do so.

Today my 2 mile walk was to the public library where I wandered from the new book section to the fireplace room and sat in a comfy chair. No internet just me and Bon Appetit. So relaxing to just sit and read without scrolling the internet! Thanks Cheri!

I love March! Itβs my reset to a new year. Itβs my birthday month and I canβt wait for the days to get longer. Walking makes me feel happy, refreshed and revived, especially in the March winds.

Today is my Friday! Squeezed in a quick mile walk this morning but walked 2 more miles at work! One of my favorite places to walk is on the summer solstice to walk 1.5 miles to watch the sun rise. It rises early in Maine but itβs worth it every year!

Took online 4 hour training. Walked two miles while listening. Unusual walk today but progress made. Plus an awesome single leg workout with fabulous music! Great Cheri day!
