This is a screenshot of the blog post linked. It reads as follows: I mentioned this briefly elsewhere but I've had a hard time working on this idea because it became the victim of stewing in my brain for most of my life and as a result I had a really hard time seperating good ideas from "cool ideas that dont really mesh well with the story you wanna tell". That, and I now mentally associate Soulsign and it's cast of characters with some fairly upsetting life events that I'd rather not detail right now, but trying to work on it was genuinely only causing me harm at one point. I'm able to at least doodle Theo again without getting viscerally upset, so there's that. Progress and whatnot. I'm heavily reconsidering the idea of making Soulsign a game at the moment, but I think I've come up with a solution that'll satisfy me. If I do come back to this idea, which I have a feeling I will sooner or later, I'd probably make it a multi-media webcomic with some pages having songs that I, or maybe even a friend or two, have composed and some pages being links to Youtube videos for limited animations for scenes that I feel should be animated. That'd satisfy me about the same as a game would without requiring me to work on this for longer than necessary. I don't wanna hate it by the time I'm eventually done here, yknow? But with that said, I'm gonna rename this as Soulsign BETA to make it evident that this is an incomplete comic and will be for a while. When we return I'll make an announcement and an entirely new page for the actual version of the comic. In the meantime, look forward to a small game/comic? idea that I've been chipping away at for the past week or so. Once the actual script is written out I'll make a choice on whether it'll be a comic or a game and then I'll just hone in on specifically that and share it here and on my other pages once it's done! It's not long at all but is very personal to me all the same. See y'all later!

With the release of Chapters 3 and 4, I think it's safe to say that Deltarune in its entirety is going to be a fairly nuanced story, at least compared to Toby's past works, and is no longer a question of who's explicitly good or evil anymore, and I couldn't be happier.
