We're seeing this across the industry, new games coming out doing "this thing that has never been done before" and it's like well it has and there's reasons it wasn't replicated, it's just their knowledge of games and history of this hobby doesn't extend past 2014.

My hope is that through this, through seeing a world change for the better through their actions. An individual can look to the world around them and hope for a better world. That they too can change the world for the better.

Sometimes in small ways, sometimes in big ways.

But always with hope.

This is why all my games are connected, sometimes in small ways, sometimes in big ways. The actions of players in a game from years ago are affecting the games I'm running now.

Evil has been defeated time and again and each time the world is better for it. They're building a better world.

In a word, Hope

To expand on that, there's this idea that individuals can't change the world. That the actions of one person or a small group of people can't affect change.

That's a lie, it has been individuals and small groups that do it every time. Individual action becomes societal change.

Christmas shopping chaos mostly

I mean more for if you have a mcguffin item required to kill the big bad and no one in the party uses that kind of item, changing the item isn't necessarily a bad idea.
It's one of the things I like about the malleability of PF2, you can do that and it's not going to wreck the system.

Well the counterpoint there is if you know the player is focusing on axes, for example, why not make it Excaliaxe instead?
Though your later point about players not picking up things that you put down to help with future encounters is absolutely valid.

I can almost guarantee it was accidentally cut for space. The same thing happened with tattoos in Secrets of Magic and it has been shown time and again that Animal Companion stuff tends to not get the some attention as other options.
So generic spec feat getting forgotten, very likely.

They have a reputation as trap builders as well so just seeing one in the distance ominously watching you would be enough to prompt extra vigilance.

The removal of alignment and color-coded evil was one of the best things they did. Added ambiguity and massive questions marks around the motivations of each dragon which makes for a lot better story telling than red=bad

Did a quick check and apparently there's no official collective group name for kobolds, so I too like "a Concern of Kobolds"
Other suggestions have been a clutch, a scamper, or a warren.

See Thunderblight didn't know all of their names but he used a chain of command, he knew his top kobolds, they had names and ranks. He put them in good armor and weapons, magical, granted them power.
He was the kind of bad guy who knew the power of loyalty and made sure his army was well supplied.

I might have to do a villain profile for Thunderblight, he was one of my favorite antagonists I've ever written. One of those cases of players hating and being terrified of an NPC but also worked with more than once.

1 Kobold isn't an threat
10 is a fight
100 is a concern
1000 is the start of an army
I had a Blue (now Stormcrown) Dragon in PF1 who had an army of kobolds that he equipped and empowered.
They were loyal, deadly, trained, and could strip and pack an ancient red dragon corpse in an hour.

Have I got anyone on my timeline with time and skill for this?

Yeah I was coming here to say this as well, like there's a lot of things Star Fleet shouldn't do but doesn't mean that they don't.

I have a group currently in Seven Dooms and we're going to Revenge of the Runelords afterwards, really looking forward to putting them through all this 😁
