"Choices" aren't real choices when we've been so heavily conditioned by trauma that we are blind to our options and resources.
Questions like "Why didn't you leave?" & "Why did you keep repeating those patterns?" assume agency that we literally don't comprehend when we're down the rabbit hole.
Why do we build the wall? We build the wall to keep us free!

Thats not a "disorder," that's an injury-- & injuries can heal w/ the proper care.

Yes, you might bug some people-- but so does every human. Our conditioning tries to tell us we're a huge inconvenience for breathing, that everyone resents-- but that's BS (Belief Systems).
Greater London contains some of the highest poverty rates in the UK. Yet no matter how many times I read the newly-published list of 75 places Angela Rayner considers the country's "most left behind" I see nowhere in Greater London on it: www.gov.uk/government/p... #london #poverty

The panel will contain those with experience of being out of education, employment & training. It will discuss the barriers they face & how to overcome them.
Let's apply this to traumatised adults too.

This study is well underway now with initial findings showing promise for provision of new insight into the relationship between childhood trauma and homelessness, informing recommendations for future developments in trauma informed practice.

We need the same from our services. Not you are safe because I say so and the walls are pastel colours but if you miss 3 appointments you are off the books. We need them to have the time and resource to show compassion and care for as long as it takes to support recovery.
