I have to hammer this home. I quit rewatching Buffy because I realized the tie-in writers loved the characters and Whedon and his writers despised them. The hate he had for Anya is genuinely disturbing. He hated Willow. He kind of really hated Buffy. But God he LOVED Xander and Spike.

This script is basically three separate scripts I've tried to perfect melded into one and the joy of creating scenario after scenario for a truly thrilling action/horror/romance that's my superhero story AND my monster girl epic AND my best friend romance AND my lovers reunited AND I sound insane

I got to a place in my script where it seemingly hit a wall and the relationship I was building broke because a character revealed their big secret. I hated it. So I decided "okay, what if he thinks he learns the truth" and that kept the plot going as it was. I...have something and it scares me
