No, Ireland is not part of Schengen and it doesn,t apply to us.

It will protect the borders of the EU , the 90 out of 180 days limit and people working without a work permit.
It doesn,t apply to Brits visiting Ireland because of the border on the island.

The EU Entry/Exit system was planned before Brexit and British MEPs were ofcourse involved in the planning of it.

They just didn,t know at the time that the UK would chose to leave the EU.
