This is amazing. Bluesky added 8 million active users in the past 4 months, but is also somehow at risk of becoming a ghost town. This nonsense is all coming from people (like this guy) who can't recreate their X networks anywhere else because their content actually sucks.

It was only a few days ago that someone waded into my "just watch AEW" post with saying "as I've been saying for years, the wrestling is the least important part of wrestling."

I cannot stress this enough. If you feel this way, you do not like wrestling. You should watch anime or something.

The idea that Bluesky could become a ghost town based on continued user growth is incoherent. "Grow unsustainably forever or die" might be a Wall Street expectation, but it's not what I expect my entertainment outlets to do.

Maybe that's why I'm not asking Collision to be more than it is. I liked Saturday Night and Worldwide in the early/mid-90s. They weren't gonna give you critical story advancement, but they'd give you a lay of the land and a bunch of fresh wrestling content. That's all I ask.

Much like Rampage, Collision is perfect weekend morning viewing--grab a cup of coffee, relax, power through last night's recording while easing into your day. Immaculate vibes.

Though if TK wants to bring back Dark so I can have more exposure to different talents and folks can get jobber-squash reps, that's fine, too.

I'm fine with a soft Rampage vibe, honestly. Dynamite is the major storyline/angle advancement show; Collision is the wrestling-first show with lower-tier stars. I don't need two double-barrelled A-shows booming away all the time. Personal preference, maybe, but I kinda like the setup exactly as is.

Others have pointed it out in the past, but it does kinda make sense to have the TNT belt defended on TNT. Also, I am reminded of how the WCW TV belt used to be a real staple of their Saturday night programming. All this is to say that none of this really bothers me. Fletcher is that show's anchor.

Was good to see Max and Jeremy last night. Always wondered what became of Generation Me.

Enjoyed #AEWDynamite last night. It wasn't a major marquee show or anything, but you can see the logical, workmanlike build to a bunch of Forbidden Door matches while they also seed some longer-term stuff for later, there was some good action, and Murder Darby may be my favorite thing going.

There is a lot of Fed-brained "I do the favor, you do the favor" kind of thinking in the general wrestling fan base, and that's frankly not how you build folks or tell long-term stories. Should Jay White and Hangman be 50/50? You don't hear stories about "is King Switch fucking going over, brother?"
