This week, Israeli forces stormed and destroyed the UNRWA headquarters in East Jerusalem after forcing UN staff out at gunpoint.
This is a sustained attack on the primary international agency keeping Palestinian refugees alive.
UNRWA runs 700+ schools, 143 health clinics, and provides food assistance to over one million Palestinian refugees. Israel banned its operations in areas it controls and stripped the agency of water and electricity. Now the headquarters that could have coordinated aid for Gaza is rubble.
