There’s convergence: when Kevin Vallier’s integralism book was going round, integralists occasionally said similar things about liberalism and for the same reasons: they didn’t intend to concede civic equality, even in principle, for out-groups (Jews in their case; Muslims in the Hindutvadi).

I’m holding a ball in my hand. The light is good, and I’m awake and alert. I know there’s a ball in my hand. Later, I reason that I must have known that there was a ball in my hand, because I can remember holding it in my hand and it felt spherical.

Those deaths matter. So does the unashamed public malice shown by those who killed them. Something has gone very badly wrong in those who can look at that evidence and think that anyone persuaded that it shows genocide is simply motivated by a desire to trivialise the Holocaust.

I don’t doubt it. But it’s another thing entirely to exclude the possibility that the evidence of intent to do genocidal harm and the actual harm we’ve seen for quite a long while now could not convince anyone who wasn’t already anti-Semitic that a genocide was in progress.
