Simulation is intentionally abstract here, but I imagine that simulation could be explored alongside with a reality. It's somewhat doable on changes to a data, but difficult when it comes to things like sending a friend email because it's hard to simulate their reaction, perhaps doable with LLMs

I suspect general solution looks less like injection prevention & a more like managing effects LLMs can cause. If every change LLM can make is more of a simulation that author can discard or play out in real world there is no problem, beyond decision makers ability to make a well informed one

I would go as far as claim that mediocrity tends to always have an upper hand, I suspect nature just tends to select the average
