Incineroar is the perfect starter for her. Ninetales, Salazzle match her type and her outer persona. Lopunny is also a fit for said outer persona, and serve as a tie to Umiri. Chandelure represents her flame, just a little twisted, but always lights up the room, and matches ghosts with Mutsumi. Purugly is her true self, strong, hardworking, and also a cat.

And lastly, the drummer of AveMuji, Amoris! The one who loves the spotlight, she is definitely a Fire Type Trainer. Incineroar is her perfect starter, cat themed and a secondary dark type to follow the band. The others are a match for either her vibes, or her hidden determination.

Ursaluna is her starter, being a three stage normal type with a ground secondary. Swellow, Obstagoon and Pyroar continue that theme. Kanto Tauros is a comparsion to her and Taki, being two confidants, and Mightyena as the lone wolf pokemon that best represents her, even if it doesn't match her trainer type.

Timoris was interesting, and I eventually decided on making her a Normal type trainer. The choice was based solely on vibes, as she is a person who seems normal, but... Which is why so many of her pokemon are normal... but. Ursaluna is her starter pokemon. The rest are explained in Alt-text.

Decidueye is her starter, and being grass and ghost is the best synthesis of Mutsumi, IMO. Banette is the doll pokemon, and Mutsumi is often represented as being a doll. Gengar best represents her personality as Mortis, and Sudowoodo her personality as Mutsumi. Ludicolo is the consumate performer, and Maushold is there as a representation of her a system. And having some mice is a good synthesis with the cat themed Raana, who shares this art with her.

Now for the guitarist, Mortis. She does not fear death, so she gets to be our Ghost type trainer. Decidueye as her starter, Gengar and Banette are her ghosts, and the other pokemon represent her as a performer. The ultimate actress, Mortis.

Greninja as the starter Absol, Houndoom and Spiritomb are her dark types, and reflect on her themes of forgetting and self imposed suffering. Mimikyu and Corviknight are her stage personas, the doll who does not fear forgetting, and the knight who chases the endless now.

Next up is Oblivionis. She who does not fear forgetting, lives in the darkness. Misfortune follows her, and Absol is the harbinger of said misfortune. Houndoom and Spiritomb continue the theme, Greninja is her starter, and Mimikyu/Corviknight reflect her stage personas, the doll and the knight.

Primarina is her starter. An idol with a natural singing voice, it was a perfect fit. Milotic represents her public face, while Sharpedo is her hidden darkness. Her connection to Tomori, and Sakiko, tied by the stars gives her Lunatone. Lycanroc is her true personality that she hides, and Hisuian Zoroark is for the fact that she stole her sister's idenity to become the person she is today.

It was a bit harder for me to find AveMujica art, but the next character up is Doloris! The singer of Ave Mujica, I think Water is the best type for her. She's a reflection of others, and associated with the night. I'm saving Dark type for a better fit, but Water is perfect for her.

The other choices are more personality based, but also help reflect her connections. Bewear as a reflection of her prickly personality, Tauros Blaze and Rapidash reflect her spirit, while Weavile is the perfect way to connect her to both Raana and Umiri.

The last member of MyGo is Taki! She's a fighting type trainer, but her hot head gives her some fire types as well. So Blaziken is a natural starter choice, Tauros-Blaze and Pangoro are natural fits for her vibe. Bewear is a great reflection of her 'tude, and Rapidash/Weavile round out the team.

A thought overtook me before I went to bed, and I wanted to start working on it. MyGO Pokemon teams! My basic rules for team building were one starter (or adjacent) pokemon, at least two pokemon of a specific type, and the rest based on story/personal preferences. No Duplicates allowed! Let's begin!

Blaziken is her starter. Pangoro is a perfect reflection of her connection to Tomori, her protector while also being somewhat panda themed. Espeon is her starter, and just the most Soyo vibes pokemon IMO. Gardevoir is tied to Anon, the girl who helped her break out of her shell, and embrace every part of her, even the parts that make others uncomfortable. Starmie is for Tomori, the guiding star who gave her a path to follow. The words together for the rest of their lives only makes sense, for two starfish glued together. Meowstic is Raana, the cat who while capricious, always comes back to the lost girls in the end. Gallade is Taki, in a sort of mirror to Anon, Taki has been tied to her through thick and thin, and the fighting type mirrors Gardevoir's fairy type, which is why she and Anon are always butting heads. Malamar is the topsy turvy pokemon, and represents Soyo's complicated relationship with Sakiko and Mutsumi. She's been a help, a shelter, a hindrance, and utlimately while they found new paths apart, it helped Soyo blossom in the long run. As for Ave Mujica... well...

Fourth up, the Bassist Soyo! She's a Psychic type trainer, and when I thought about her, it only made sense to have her team tied to the characters who are closest to her. Espeon is her starter, Gallade, Gardevoir, Meowstic and Starmie represent her bandmates, and Malamar her relationship to CRYCHIC
