Rn it just shows a test for a mesh based particle system I'm working on. Technically it's rendering 250k particles and it runs at least OK on mobile 👀

And actually talking to other people in person has made me reprioritize different aspects of my work

I really like making textural abstract prints, but the people want a Good and Free PNG -> SVG Art Tool. And more literal art

It took like a week, but I am finally alive again after #OpenSauce

It was super cool to talk thru my Raster Image -> SVG Unity tool with so many engaged and interesting people! It was a huge confidence boost, even if it was a ton of work

I like the colors, but I think I might need to write a little thing to suggest color palettes. I tend to do the same handful of colors a lot

I plotted ~100 business cards!

Most of the stuff I plot is 1/1 so it's been fun seeing the same design drawn with different pens, and optimizing the deisgn to plot more quickly

The magnifying glass is such a good idea! 🧠 I basically always post 2 pics of my work to show the full piece, and a close up for texture. But I am not the biggest fan of how multi-photo posts look sometimes

I like hand signing my art because so much of my workflow is digital and feels disconnected from the physical art piece. But it also really stresses me out because I don't want to ruin them with my human hands 😩

I managed to sign all 28 pieces in my backlog without goofing any too bad tho🙏

I've been plotting a bunch of smaller scope designs this week and it's been a lot of fun :)

Now I have to cut-out + sign + photograph all of it :(

My old DBrand skin started to peel, so I cut up an old misprint and glued it on as a replacement

For those curious - I have a shader that generates a Truchet pattern in screen space. Then it uses (gradient noise + Time) % 1 to drive the animation

After I have this being drawn in Unity I use a script to place characters based on the value of each frame
