You don't really have to have a proper grasp of how sentences work, because a kid's priority is saying what they want, not thinking about how to say it.

The fun part about writing kid/children dialogue is that I can don't really have to think too hard about how formatting the sentence works because I can just go;

"Yeah yeah yeah! I like that one! Its the one with the yummy bean paste filling sometimes, right?"

And I would look at it and say, yeah

Wheen writing, I often worry that I don't have enough content for my chapters when I put down 5 bullet points...

And so I put 3 more, making it 8 bullet points, only to realise I yap so much that I've wadted 7/17 pages and only covered 2 bullet points

every year im proven right about my fear/weariness of Jiang Cheng stans. Not everyone, but there are definitely large outliers...
