Ran a game of DURF for the kids this weekend and it was a blast, even for the 5yo. I ran Forest for the Trees and converted the monster stats over from Cairn on the fly, which I'm reasonably sure I screwed up and accidentally made them harder than they should have been. But everyone lived!

And yeah, it was a good time. I'm an elf magic user (we started at 5th level) - my stats and spells are trash, but there's tons of hidden doors in the adventure we're playing so I'm still somewhat useful!

I played in my first ever session of 0e D&D last night, and it was rad as hell. Truthfully, it was my first real old school/OSR experience, period. Very happy to be getting this experience in before ArcaneCon the end of the year.

But also, the Kal-Arath solo itch needs to be scratched soon too.

I don't draw often, as I've never considered myself an artist or having any real talent for visual art in anyway, but I've been trying to work on it lately mostly as a fuck you to AI.

I fucked around with a different technique this weekend and here's some stuff I don't hate (a thread)
