i'm feeling really good to where i have got to with my perspective on ai. i can now easily push aside content, or engage content, appropriately. my use case is my own, but that is all i care about tbh.

there is so much hype and fud around ai. all i can say is that reality lies somewhere in between. i highly encourage you try it out yourself. apply it to your use case. i can bet there is a pragmatic and useful application to be found.

claude code is frikken amazing. i am literally parallel programming with it. i am coding away in neovim building out one feature, i have claude code working on another feature set right next to me.

The secret to the massively faster rendering is skipping async rendering for components that don't await anything. Promises bring a lot of overhead. I expect we can get more by minimising the use of streams too.

feature based allows me to snapshot a folder (+ subs) quickly via a cli command, feeding that into my llm.

tanstack query is pretty rad. can really go for with ux improvements via its api without introducing crazy complexity on the backend. loving the cache system and optimistic updates support.

highly recommend it. don't get too hung up on the labelling. adhd represents a wide spectrum of brain patterns. getting diagnosed is a good path to develop a more intimate understanding of your own. i have become so much more confident and empowered since my own.

i've gone with all my ghostty keybinds starting with cmd+opt. slightly awkward, but its much easier for me to contextualise. not hitting any os conflicts rn.

trying to avoid keybind clashes across ghostty, neovim, and os is the real battle.

something so fulfilling about having a baby fall asleep in your arms. bonus points for giving my friends a little break too.
