Nothing is ever simple. Most farmers have spent thousands of pounds this last year and hours getting advice.

But hopefully the looming court case will prove the slight of govt hand in next few weeks.

I’ve got used to it as a) he is anti Brexit and b) helpful on farming.

He’s also brave and speaks up. But he makes mistakes and has lots of flaws.

To get British farms growing again requires huge investment and a return to the EU.

This is bullshit: Turning a farm into a limited company doesn’t magically avoid inheritance tax: APR depends on land use, not legal wrappers, and incorporation often creates new tax liabilities while weakening reliefs.

Yes it’s what subliminal messaging does. Years of the press filling minds with grievances. People not cherishing the important things in life. They just love blaming scapegoats! Farmers are the most scapegoated minority in Britain

Bc farming has its own tax accounting rules given the risks associated with farming.

Farmers aren’t rich. Their farm value is only realised if they’re forced to sell. IHT makes that happen and global corporations clean up. The likes of these Amazon et pay very little tax and it’s why high st and public services are struggling.

Machinery and stock easily add up to several million. Then the land, housing and farm buildings. Most farms scratch a living for long hours.

IHT is all about delivering for global corporations eg Blackrock.

That is not what happened. Farms and family businesses were projected from IHT under EU regs which stop monopolies taking over.

Farage just hijacks any cause he knows he can take advantage of.

A poll was done by FW but it’s not scientific as anyone can spam it. 40% said they would.

But given the tiny numbers of farmers this is immaterial and hopefully Clarkson will spark rethink in his fan club of tens or millions.

He was right on Brexit and he’s good on farming.

He’s a very clever journalist and writer - he also has been helpful in holding Brexit to account. He’s not a pub bore, farage is.

Farage only cares about himself. Like Trump.

The best news is that his intervention will cause many to rethink voting Reform. He’s loved by about 56% of the population. His pup is packed every day. I live near it.

He was right on Brexit and he’s good advocate for farming.

Rewilding caused huge fires last summer. And importing all our food multiplies climate damage by 20.

This intervention is massive blow to farage. Clarkson is hugely popular with right wing voters.

When politics becomes vibes instead of policy, disappointment is inevitable and that vacuum is exactly where real extremism grows.

That’s how you end up with leaders who promise everything, deliver nothing, and blame everyone else when reality bites.
