Why do I get the feeling we are going to hold Trump accountable by documenting every broken campaign promise while the people he made the promises to won’t care?

I gotta say, Bluesky feels like my early days of Twitter, when it was FUN, when I first realized I was part of a great community.

I really love Bluesky, but I’m not crazy about calling posts here “skeets.” I just looked up the word, and skeet is apparently slang for ejaculation.

We can do better than that, folks! Since Elon coldly spurned the word “tweet” on X, I guess we could use that. Or maybe “blues”?

3 years ago Twitter suppressing deadly covid misinformation was viewed as a partisan attack on Republicans that generated months of performative outrage and resulted in congressional hearings. Today the owner of the platform literally took a job in the Trump administration. 🤔

It’s so weird to be able to scroll and see posts I actually WANT to like.

Until the last, dying breath of X, I will still call it Twitter.

Seriously, I wish I could sleep until 2028.
