For spooky season I grabbed a bunch of DVDs from the library and headed to the woods!

I may give some further thoughts on all of these movies after some time to digest them, but here's my first one-man movie fest!

The Blaine Witch solo movie fest is on!

Adding this fun fact to my ice breaker repertoire: I am only 1 of 4 people that watched this 70s Christian film on Letterboxd. And the VHS that was on repeat as a kid. I have to keep those numbers low so it remains interesting. But this wasn't one of the big ones like "A Thief in the Night"

I'll be camping in the woods alone with a pile of horror DVDs to watch while eating fall snacks for a day and a half.

Making bookmarks because I lost the last ones I made is one of the only certainties in my life.

Also, I found out that the Grandpa in Ben 10 wears the same shirt as Dale from Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers. A guy at Disneyland once pointed it out and I had no idea what he was talking about. I've never felt so old.

We're headed to the mountains and my kids immediately clocked that I dressed as Dipper from Gravity falls. My wife doesn't watch the show and, for my own amusement, she can not find out.
