At the Safer Air Project, we’d add this: indoor air quality isn’t just a hidden financial input. It’s also an accessibility issue.

3. CEOs don’t need another wellbeing initiative. They need to recognise what indoor air quality already is, a financial input hiding in plain sight, and start managing it accordingly.

2. Most CEOs can quote revenue growth, margins and headcount with ease. Very few could tell you what the indoor air quality is like inside their offices, or what it might be costing them.

1. Air pollution is no longer just an environmental or public health concern. It is a material financial risk, imposing an estimated $6trn (£4.38trn) annual cost on the global economy – equivalent to 4.6% of global GDP...

Submissions don’t need to be polished or formal - you can write a paragraph, a letter, or even dot points. The committee want to hear from people who have lived experience, so your story matters.

The good news is that making improvements doesn’t have to be complicated! A quick chat with your educators about small changes like opening windows or using portable air filters, where available, can make a real difference.

Bushfire smoke can harm your health but there are steps you can take to stay safe.

Join the Centre for Safe Air's Bushfire smoke health plan briefing to learn about the health impacts of bushfire smoke pollution and how you can use this plan to stay safe.

Your submission can be a letter, a longer report type document or simply an email, and is can be made by organisations or members of the public – and you don’t need to be a NSW resident to submit a response, any one can do so.
