The thing about tanking anxiety in XIV is that the game has simplified tanking to a degree where most tanks are actually just going "im da king of da highway" through the whole dungeon without pressing buttons, and you likely won't realize it unless you've played for like 7,000 hours. Fordola feels like an anomaly in the writing of XIV. Antagonist woman whose antagonism isn't in any way tied to her being a woman. Has actual long-lasting friction on both a personal and broad level that doesn't get discarded the moment a main character wants to be friends. I miss Fordola.
