The first is a really interesting "do I want him romantically or nutritionally" vibe with lots of queer awakening and the comparisons of "internalized wrongness" but so much of it is metaphorical or hallucinated. I complained to my partner and theu were very amused that I wanted more cannibalism

The reason I lost it was because I remembered that Junji Ito interview where he talks about how he gets his inspiration by thinking "well that'd be scary" and just going with it, and couldn't help thinking of the same thing happening with this.

One of the newly updated manga on Mangadex was titled The Angelic Transfer Student and Mastophobia-kun.

Then I saw the blurb and lost it.

The most unbelievable part about The Shadow isn't that a white man who was a former opioid baron before being reformed by a Buddhist holy man became a crime fighting superhero, it's that there wasn't a single other car on a new York city bridge for like 10 whole minutes.

Everyone should watch The Shadow because it unironically goes hard

Porn bans are often put forward as "indecency laws/bans" and are intentionally worded vaguely so they can be used to attack not just queer people but the disabled as well and even those in interracial relationships.
Indecency Laws are ways to hammer down anyone who resists fascism.

A reminder to any who think they aren't affected by any of these "porn bans" need to read up on history. Purges of purity like this led to the Comics Code Authority, and the demonization of Horror as a genre across all mediums. "Smut" to the fascist is a pretty wide net for anything they dislike.
