I loved @leewind.bsky.social's explanation of the term "author publishing" & why he uses it instead of "indie publishing" (latter is more vague, can be misinterpreted). I'm going to start using "author-published" -it is a legit publishing choice & is a clearer, more empowered framing. #scbwisummer25

I just finished SWEETY by Andrea Zuill. Not sure how I missed this when it first came out but it’s funny and cute and a great book for celebrating what makes you unique. It will be a nice read aloud for those first few getting-to-know-you weeks of school. 👍🏻📚 #kidlit #primaryedusky #edusky

I don’t often read graphic novels, but I loved HOW TO TALK TO YOUR SUCCULENT by Zoe Persico. It’s the story of a girl coping with grief, moving to a new place and making new friends. A good book for those kids who might be struggling with something they aren’t able to talk about. 📚👍🏻 #kidlit #edusky
