Honestly, I’d like to see movies about how Waynetech or Stark Industries is funding educational programs, building affordable housing, or helping the sick and homeless. Those are real feats of heroism.

I’m kinda trying to prepare my kids for me getting it. Wife and I are looking into buying Long-Term care insurance, and have told the kids that if we start to get bad they should put us in a nursing home. We don’t want them to be burdened by this.

Well, I do work with seniors as an LNA. I’ve kinda been prepared a bit for it. It’s dealing with my own mom, in my home, that’s got me wrecked.

Alzheimer’s is a hell of a thing. I knew my mom’s memory was going, but today she mistook me for her brother. She forgot that I was her 48 y/o son. Damn.
