Planned Parenthood is under attack.

Thanks to everyone who wrote a postcard to their local House member, urging them to continue opposing Republican-led efforts to “defund” Planned Parenthood. We brought them to Rep. Salud Carbajal and he shared this message.

She is the first Latina and first woman of color EVER to lead the California State Senate. We look forward to continued collaboration to ensure access to sexual and reproductive health care in the Central Coast and throughout California.

Here’s what you need to know about @cagovernornewsom.bsky.social's May Budget Revision:

1. It decreases funding for sexual & reproductive health care providers by half a billion $.
2. It would eliminate 1/3 of PP in CA’s annual funding.
3. It effectively defunds Planned Parenthood in CA.
