The state's House just passed one of the first private business bathroom bans in the United States.
It allows you to sue any private business that lets trans people pee if you think they're in the wrong bathroom.

Join us in our effort to make sure Washington passes the strongest possible version of the Driver Privacy Act. Our safety depends on it.
05.02.2026 02:30 β π 6 π 3 π¬ 0 π 0As the bill continues to the House, we are one step closer to securing needed regulations on automated license plate readers (ALPRs). Without guardrails, these devices scan and store license plate data from countless drivers every day, enabling the government to keep track of where people drive.
05.02.2026 02:30 β π 8 π 2 π¬ 1 π 0Our collective power is working! Washington state lawmakers heard our calls to protect our privacy and, as a result, voted to pass the Driver Privacy Act out of the Senate.
From tireless work by activists and advocates, and support by everyday people like you, our joint efforts led to this vote. π
We can have public safety without giving away our collective right to privacy. Regulating automated license plate readers (ALPRs) will help limit who can access sensitive info about our daily lives.
SB 6182 will be scheduled for a hearing in the Senate Ways & Means committee very soon. Let's make sure your legislators know that Washingtonians believe in sustainable solutions for funding the state's safety net abortion providers! #WALeg

We're so grateful for Senator Bateman's support β and we need to make sure other lawmakers understand that SB 6182 is a practical solution to funding abortion care and maintaining Washington's legacy as a leading defender of abortion rights and access.

SB 6182 would ensure the funds are used as intended under federal law β to protect access to care at a time when attacks on reproductive health services are escalating and Washington grapples with a revenue shortfall. (4/5)
29.01.2026 18:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0While the Abortion Savings Program is not a replacement for the Abortion Access Project (AAP) β which was cut by 55% in 2025 β it offers an innovative approach to help close the gap for abortion care coverage as demand for abortion care continues to rise. (3/5)

29.01.2026 18:16 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0We won't accept this. 28.01.2026 22:44 β π 0 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0That isnβt small government. Itβs a uniform denial of basic protections that tells LGBTQ+ Idahoans and other marginalized residents that their safety and dignity donβt matter. (5/6)
28.01.2026 22:44 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0In communities across Idaho, locally elected officials have stepped up to stop discrimination, something the state has refused to do. This bill blocks them from doing exactly what voters elected them to do. (4/6)
