Election buzz ramps up with Liberals poaching candidates from opposition parties and Conservatives starting nomination process In preparation for a snap election, the Conservative Party of Canada has started the candidate nomination process across the country, according to an internal memo obtained by The Hill Times.

The Conservative Party sent out an internal memo on Feb. 4, to electoral district associations saying the nomination process has started, and some closing notices have been sent to some ridings.

The updated COMIRNATYยฎ vaccine targets the Omicron LP.8.1 variant, one of the most recently circulating SARS-CoV-2 lineages. It will be made available this Fall across Canada.
