It’s crazy how I become a professional figure skating commentator every 4 years.

Reading a past journal entry where I wrote, “Why is my life so entangled with what it means to expect and what I am allowed to expect?”

It made me think of Saturn and Jupiter

As some people have pointed out, they said that one dog per day has been found since launch, not that their product has found one dog per day, so it’s possibly just a general stat on lost dogs. Either way it’s dystopian af.

Saturn about to enter my 6H and literally all I do is work and clean and take care of my dog.

Wondering if Saturn leaving my 5H means I’ll get to have fun again or if entering my 6H will just have me doubling on the non-stop daily grind 🫩

Idk but I feel like both malefics are involved. Saturn cause cold and mountainous and disciplined. Mars cause athletics ofc but also speed and agility. If you look more into it let us know!!

ICE in Minneapolis | Documenting "Operation Metro Surge" Photography from Minneapolis as thousands of federal agents arrive.

Since December i’ve been taking pictures in Minneapolis as thousands of federal agents and officers descended upon my city. Photos regularly get posted on my site first along with many that never make it to social media.

Outer planet transits WILL impact us, whether or not we raise our awareness to try to understand that planet. As with any planet, popular characterizations of their functions can be very skewed or simplistic.

But its core nature, natal position, aspects, etc. help us to see what it‘s asking of us.🤔

This frames the stars of the northern autumn sky and Milky Way setting over Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, a U.N. World Heritage Site, in southern Alberta near Fort MacLeod.

Technical -This is a blend of:
— A stack of 4 x 1-minute exposures, tracked for the sky, with no filter. At f/2.8 and ISO 1600.
— A stack of 2 x 2-minute exposures, tracked for the sky with a Maven 20nm H-Alpha filter for the red nebulas. At f/2.8 and ISO 3200.
— A stack of 3 x 30-second exposures, tracked for the sky with a Maven StarWalker diffusion filter for the star glow effect. At f/2.8 and ISO 1600.
— A stack of 3 x 2-minute exposures, untracked for the ground, with no filter, taken with the Moon in the east behind the camera about 5º up at this point and in some cloud but clear enough to light the scene. At ISO 1600 and at f/8 , for depth of field.

Tonight, I thought about how in the Orphic Hymn to Saturn, it mentions its “Obstetric Nature”. I was curious. Obstetric comes from the Latin term “obstetrix”, meaning “midwife”, with the root “obstare”: “To stand opposite to” (or in front of).

Yes, oppositions are the nature of Saturn. But also…

Saturn day. Saturn conjunct the ruler of my Midheaven.

Was awoken by a text from my boss informing me I will be baring the burden of responsibility at work this evening. Wish me luck! 🫠

This Saturn’s day, let the Pisces Saturn leave you with a parting message of where your efforts have paid off - and where you may need to continue dedicated (and patient!) efforts.

I later got shingles in November 2024 when Saturn stationed direct conjunct my natal Mars. Shingles is essentially a reactivation of the chicken pox virus!

Ages 4-6, in 6H.
I can’t remember much but I know I got the chicken pox, began primary school (Saturn-ruled 3H), and we adopted my childhood dog.
My dog’s name was Sam, meaning “of the Sun”, and my Sun is in Aries III.

Yes wow right there with you. Basically the lesson of my Saturn return in Aquarius. It’s still not an easy thing to navigate (it feels isolating / ostracizing) but it’s integral to my being and at the end of the day that is what is most important.
