With the Yankees out of the playoffs, I stayed up until clown-o'clock to watch all 15 innings of the Seattle v Detroit game.

Now I'm invested in seeing Seattle (who hasn't been in the ALCS since 2001) play the Cubs (aka, our house team) in the World Series.

Why are videos (YouTube, social media embeds, CNN, etc) suddenly not playing on Firefox? And why will Firefox updates not download?

This is amazing news.

I rooted for the Red Sox just once in my life - in the last game of the 2004 World Series - and even then, I was really just rooting for the Red Sox fans to get a win after 80+ years.

After that? The Sox might as well have been the Patriots in terms of how much I didn't want them to win.
