not sure if you’re familiar with the can school but the offense not having hots baked in has been his primary complaint for probably the last 4-5 years.

and frankly I don’t think that’s the lesson to take away from that season lol. the offense had issues, sure, but they were often overcompensating because our defense was terrible.

I’d think that with a good defense this year, we should have a larger margin for error on offense as far as risky plays

i’ll push back on this slightly because I think, going back to his college days, he never really played conservative or extra risk-averse. he would let it fly often. in both ‘22 and ‘23, I didn’t feel like he played that way. seems like after ‘23, siri overemphasized it b/c of the 20 turnovers.
